- Apesar da longa duração do evento, é pouco provável que se trate de uma reentrada de lixo espacial, apesar de que a hipótese ainda está sendo estudada avaliando-se as reentradas esperadas para o local e o horário;

- Caso se confirme ser mesmo um meteoro (o que é muito provável que aconteça), provavelmente trate-se de um material de baixa velocidade ou que entrou com pequena angulação em relação ao solo (ou até ambos os casos, sendo considerado a possibilidade de se tratar de um Earthgazer);

- Não há confirmação da trajetória, mas dados preliminares indicam que provavelmente ele se deslocava de noroeste para sudeste, o que levanta a possibilidade de que ele possa ter se dirigido para o mar;

URGENT - Bright meteor crosses the sky of Argentina and was seen to the south of Brazil # Links # Videos
A very bright meteor, long-term was seen that night of 30 July, around 21:00 hours (local time) on Argentina, as in provinces Entre Rios and Buenos Aires (relatively close to the border with Brazil and Uruguay) .

The meteor had predominantly green color and a strong shine. In addition, he had great length, which meant to call the attention of many people, allowing time for them filming the event. The same meteor was also seen in Uruguay and in cities in southern Brazil, for example, Taquara, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

There is still little information about the event, and social networks the event is being reported along the # Cielo verde. However, some information and assumptions can already be highlighted:

- Despite the long duration of the event, it is unlikely that it is a space junk re-entry, although the case is still being studied by evaluating the expected re-entry to the site and the time;

- If confirmed even be a meteor (which is very likely to happen), probably treat yourself to a low speed material or which came with small angle relative to the ground (or even both cases, being considered the possibility of it is a Earthgazer);

- There is no confirmation of the path, but preliminary data indicate that probably he moved northwest to southeast, which raises the possibility that he may have been directed to the sea;

- By the magnitude of the event is virtually ruled out any relationship with any active meteor shower of the time, in the case of a sporadic meteor.
